We had the pleasure of aligning with Madz at his listening party, celebrating the release of his upcoming project ‘She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not’

Postponed, reshaped, and tested by hurdles, Madz emphasises this project as it stands is proof that he is exactly where he’s supposed to be.

After an eight-year hiatus since his last project in 2017, L.Y.L.A. His long-awaited return, is the sound of growth, resilience, and an unapologetic need for authenticity.

Madz is an artist you should firmly have on your radar, His music doesn’t aim to lecture, it shifts culture with truths often left unsaid.

His intentions for the project is also what makes him stand out, his ability to humanise the Black British experience, while creating a space for men to be open, vulnerable, and unfiltered by setting an example that these conversations are not only possible, but vital.

Inspired by 70s soul, Teddy Pendergrass, and his own lived reality, Madz strips away the non-human expectations we often place on love.

The project itself is a journey. It opens with a chaotic but magnetic 90’s vibe intro, heavy 808s, layered samples, interludes and a spiralling energy that feels like late night car conversations. 

The album flows perfectly into moments of intimacy with tracks like Peace of Mind and She Loves Me Not, (our personal favourite).

He touches on experience we’ve all lived through, and expands into ethereal, floating keys and choir-like textures. Across hip-hop, R&B, and trap influences, poetic storytelling that gets you moving while you reflect.

For Madz, the message is clear: don’t forget what you’re here to do.

Madz listening party was more than an album preview, but a celebration of artistry, community, and culture. 

The moment we stepped into the room, the details spoke volumes. Roses scattered across the floor, a bespoke cocktail menu inspired by tracks (Moesha, Peace of Mind, Twisted, and Freakquency), and a photo booth that kept the energy high, it was clear this event was curated with love.

That love was everywhere. Madz was surrounded by his biggest supporters, his sisters, parents, close friends, and collaborators, all of them beaming with pride. You could feel how deeply they believed in his artistry and how much he valued their presence.

The night ended with an unforgettable twist: a Boiler Room–style session. Madz stepped behind the DJ booth, with co-producers QisRetired and PB the Plug, surrounded by the crowd, sharing unreleased favourites and even previewing music from his next project after She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not. It was intimate, electric, and showed just how dedicated he is, not just to this release, but to a long-term journey in music.

This project is an introduction to Madz as an artist in full alignment with his vision. The atmosphere, the music, the community, it all proved one thing: Madz is THAT GUY

Island Vibes & Big Energy

THIS IS NOT A DRILL: LATTO JUST DROPPED ‘Somebody’

Island vibes, viral visuals, and a record-breaking deal rollout - Latto’s back and bolder than ever.

Latto has officially dropped her first single of 2025, and it’s exactly the energy we’ve been waiting for. Her highly anticipated single ‘Somebody’ is out now & it comes with a sun-drenched, tropical-inspired music video channeling pure island vibes.

Earlier this week, Latto took to social media to post the island inspired artwork with the caption ‘Greetings from Jamaica’ on TikTok, Instagram and X.

The upcoming visualiser directed by her sister Brooklyn Nikole, shows Latto gliding down a river on a bamboo raft, with the backdrop of jamaica’s vibrant landscape - perfectly matching the laid-back, tropical feel of the single.

She first teased the single back on March 11th with a snippet of her cooking Ackee and Saltfish - with a cute leopard lingerie dress - a signature Latto moment. Few days later she uploaded a video in her custom pink Bentley with a green interior - while she narrates ‘I’m on a beach, my hair blowing in the wind. I’m sipping a pinã colada in a G-string bikini” she says while licking her lips.

Since then she has been teasing her fans with numerous snippets using the highly anticipated single. This comes with the announcement of her ‘Big Mama takes Europe tour’ - Kicking off in DLT Malta Festival, alongside other festivals. She’s also set to headline shows in London, Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam, to name a few. Due to overwhelming demand Latto has added extra dates in London and even upgraded to bigger venues to allow more ticket sales.

Monday 12th May, Latto finally announced the released date with a pre-save link. Somebody has been her most ‘pre-saved’ single in her career - she shared a screenshot text message.
